Whilst most travellers using caravan park BBQ’s do leave it clean for the next person, there will be times when you would not let your dog lick the bbq plate. I came across a few handy tips to keep the grill clean for the next person and allowing you more time to enjoy your camping trip.
1. Keep a roll of baking paper in your kitchen items. Pop a sheet of baking paper on the grill and cook your food directly on top. Then you don’t have to worry about how clean the plate is, your food doesn’t stick, and you don’t leave the BBQ in a mess for the next people. It’s also handy if you want to cook eggs, since they often run down the drainage hole
2. If you need to clean it try this cheap solution – Mix 1:1 of White Vinegar and Water, Scrunch up some aluminium foil to use as a scourer. Pour it on the grill and get scrubbing.
